Movies...

Anybody seen any good movies lately, Old/New??? Just wondering... I love movies, but it seems I haven't been to the theatre in a long while. A few of my recent favorites, new DVD releases, are Dan in Real Life, August Rush and Juno. I really love all of those and have watched them more times than I care to admit. Also, a few weeks ago I watched, Sydney White, which was predictable and silly. But, I enjoyed it. My sister pretty much thinks it should have won best movie of the year. But then, you have to know my sister. She also has the entire Legally Blonde movie memorized. Which, I'm not saying is a bad thing. Legally Blonde is a great movie. And, my sister is AMAZING, truly!!! Just looking for suggestions, if you have any.

I wish I had some suggestions. I also liked Dan in Real Life. Kira told me to see Juno, but other than that, I have nothing. I'll try to think if I've seen anything good lately.

Just watched Juno- it was pretty good. I really liked the actress who played Juno. And now I know where your title came from...

something I've been into lately are concerts on dvd. I'm a big fan of Paul McCartney the US tour, Lilith Fair tour, Fleetwood Mac's The Dance, The BeeGees One Night Only, and Harry Connick Jr: The New York Big Band Concert...I don't know how available these are to rent- I happen to own them. They inspire me.
Movies I would suggest- I love classics. So if you haven't seen any of these- you should: North By Northwest, Rear Window, (both Hitchcock films), Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Casablanca, 12 Angry Men (the old one...actually the new one's good too), The Sting, Wait Until Dark....Also for something silly you should check out some Christopher Guest films. They're like mockumentries- like the office. The same group of actors do them all-I'd start with Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind. Waiting for Guffman is the funniest, but its rated R. Luckily, I have a cleanflicks version.
